Hello Friends and acquaintances! This is my first blog and I am not very technically savvy, but I am giving it the old college-try. My main purpose for this is to keep all the people in my life updated on my travels. I have a very loose itinerary planned. My first step is going to Israel on June 21st for 12 days on the Birthright program. I am so lucky to have gotten in on my first year applying! The organizer I am going with is called Kesher. After Birthright is over, I will have three days on my own in Israel. Then I fly to Athens, Greece from Tel Aviv on July 5th. I am not sure what I will be doing in Greece and how long I'll be there. I plan on seeing a couple Islands and having some time to decompress. I have a Euro-rail pass, so my plan is to somehow make my way from Greece to England by train. I'm not sure of my exact path, I am going to decide as I go! I'm looking forward to meeting all kinds of people and having them give me tips on where I should visit. Once I get to Weymouth in England, I will be visiting my good friend Steve and he will show me the countryside! I have a ticket to fly back to Chicago from London on August 30th. So that's it, I will try and update as much as I can, but I won't obsess over it or anything. Hope you enjoy! See you all back in the States! :)
best get yourself a map of europe pronto........ :-)
